XXII FORMVLA

For over sixty years, Peliti’s Vermouth Rosso has represented the essence and prestige of the vermouth tradition, based on the refined use of Muscat. This formula, which has become the symbol of exclusive supply to the British royal house, is distinguished by its rich and complex aromatic bouquet.

Vibrant cedar notes blend harmoniously with the heady scent of elderberry and the elegance of gentianella, creating a perfect balance with the robust bitterness of absinthe and quassia.

The color of this vermouth is a deep, deep red, a deliberate choice that not only respects the historicity of the original recipe but also makes it ideal for creating sophisticated and visually striking cocktails.

Each bottle of Peliti’s Vermouth Rosso is finished with handcrafted care, testifying to the attention to detail and quality that characterize the Peliti house.

Presented in elegant tubular cases or, upon request, in exclusive wooden cases, these bottles not only embody liquid excellence at their core but also become a symbol of sophistication and style, perfect for those who wish to explore new dimensions of taste and aroma in the world of vermouths.

Who is Federico Peliti?

He was a Piedmontese entrepreneur, sculptor, photographer, and pastry chef and was an iconic figure in Queen Victoria’s court in the late 1800s. His restaurant, a haunt of British high society in India, is even mentioned by Rudyard Kipling in one of his famous stories. Since 1877, Peliti’s Vermouth, produced at the request of Prince Edward VII of Wales, has won international medals thanks to its unique formula: a harmonious fusion of Indian spices, Piedmontese flowers, the bitterness of absinthes and the sweetness of Monferrato’s raisin muscat. Peliti was able to embody the spirit of the Belle Époque, combining the exotic with tradition.
